A young woman's life was abruptly cut short during a live stream on May 13. Valeria Marquez, a 23-year-old Mexican influencer, was fatally shot while broadcasting from a beauty salon. The Jalisco State Attorney’s Office has labeled this a femicide, a term used when a woman or girl is murdered due
