To create a modular accounting tool that uses AI to handle tasks like categorization, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Open Ledger isn’t the first to tackle this problem, but Pryce believes their approach is unique. They’ve spent months developing AI workflows to make data transactions more secure and efficient. Pryce found fundraising to be smooth, with investors like Kindred Ventures and Blank Ventures backing them.

The company is still in beta but plans to fully launch by the end of the month. They’ve already signed some contracts but are keeping the details under wraps for now. Open Ledger works with SaaS companies, fintech, and banks to help small- and medium-sized businesses. With the new funding, they plan to hire more talent in product development, engineering, and business.

Pryce has big plans for Open Ledger. He wants to support at least a million end users by the end of the year. His advice? Keep the team small and focused, and help businesses spend more time on what really matters – their customers.
