Wicked: Equal Pay for Grande & Erivo

You know how sometimes people love to gossip about who gets paid what in movies? Well, that happened with the film Wicked. Some people said Ariana Grande got $15 million for her role, while Cynthia Erivo only got $1 million. But Universal Pictures stood up and said, "Nope, that's not true! " They made it clear that both stars were paid the same amount for their work. Even though the movie cost a lot to make—around $320 million before marketing—Universal didn't want any rumors floating around. They wanted everyone to know that both Ariana and Cynthia got equal pay. That's a good thing, right?

Ariana has been talking about playing Glinda for a long time on social media. And the two stars got along great during the filming. They even had a five-hour chat at Cynthia's house before singing together at the director's place. Cynthia said they wanted to be good to each other and build a real friendship.
