Why Trump and Robinson Aren’t Right for North Carolina

Let's talk about Mark Robinson and Donald Trump. You might know them, maybe not. Robinson, North Carolina's Lieutenant Governor, has some pretty strong views on women. He once said abortion is about "killing the child" because women weren't careful. Trump, the former President, has a history too, like that 2015 video where he bragged about grabbing women. Both have voiced offensive things and acted badly toward women. If elected, they plan to roll back women's rights. Trump wants to ban medication abortion and prosecute doctors. Robinson? He wants a total ban on abortion in North Carolina. This is a big deal for us in North Carolina. Most women here support safe, legal abortions and want to make their own health decisions without politicians butting in.

Robinson's views are extreme, and he doesn't hide them. He's insulted female celebrities and downplayed domestic violence. Trump, on the other hand, has picked judges who are hostile to women's rights. Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, they've made rulings that limit women's healthcare. Despite their similar views, Trump has tried to distance himself from Robinson lately. But they're still cut from the same cloth. They both objectify and demean women. Their actions and words show they don't value women's rights. We've seen what happens when Trump gets power. We don't want that for North Carolina. Women here want more rights and freedoms, not less. And on November 5, it's the women of North Carolina who will decide who wins.
