Why Israel's Ban on UNRWA Might Hurt Palestinians

UNRWA says it's only a tiny fraction of their staff has links to Hamas. A big question is, if UNRWA goes away, who will help the Palestinians? Israel says other groups can step in, but many doubt that will be enough. UNRWA has been helping Palestinian refugees since 1949, when many were forced to leave what is now Israel.
