The a San Antonio team is setting their sights on De’Aaron Fox. He is a point guard with a free agency coming soon in 2026. His good performance and his outlook on the future create a lot for speculation about his next move.

       To increase the squad, talks are ongoing between the Kings, Rockets, Heat and Nets.

       A few things are making the trade market thicker for Fox's market value.

        First, the teams making inquiries are in full force, having the budget space in 2026.

         The San Antonio Spurs have been looking to get Fox in their roster.

           The point guard, young future NBA players and a list of first-round picks will be brought to the table during his free agency.

           Victor Wembanyama is a big name and a prime asset of the franchise.

        Next, the Houston Rockets believe it is best to pursue their path with their core starting point.

         The squad will probably also  retain Fred VanVleet. However, they do also have other players like Adams, Green and Tate who will soon have contracts ending.

         Lastly, there are Reed Sheppard a player drafted in the number 3 position, Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore who could be greatly improved by getting larger roles.

         The Rockets are sitting nicely in the west.

         The organization has an abundance of draft selections at their disposal.

        The Miami Heat are eager to work with Fox for many a few years. but they do not have any draft picks.  Additionally this is a busy season for them to acquire Jimmy Butler.

      The Nets would also aggressively dangled Fox in the trade of their team

    The Nets also have up to 12 tradeable and future first-round picks to dangle.

    Fox also played for Nets coach Jordi Fernandez.

    As intriguing as this potential match-up is, it doesn't seem like it will materialize based on the team's long- term goals.

      Cities in the game of basketball are also major factors.

      Whatever happens De’Aaron Fox wants to get the best bang for his buck. He is a businessman as much as a player in this game.
