Wander Franco: A Fall from Grace

Wander Franco, a former rising star in Major League Baseball, has faced serious legal trouble. He was found guilty of sexual abuse of a minor in the Dominican Republic. Franco, who was 21 at the time, had a relationship with a 14-year-old girl. The judge gave him a suspended two-year sentence. This means he won't go to prison unless he breaks certain rules, like contacting minors with bad intentions. The mother of the victim, Martha Vanessa Chevalier Almonte, was also convicted.
