The voting window for the Best of Mower County has opened and will stay open until July 2.  

In April and May, several businesses were shortlisted in each category, leaving up to five finalists for voters.  

Now residents can decide which local spot deserves the top honor in its field.

This event isn’t run by a corporate body; it’s driven by everyday people who shop, dine, and work in the county.  

When you cast a vote online—once per day from each device—you’re giving your voice to the community’s best.  

Print ballots will appear in the June 6 newspaper, offering another way to participate.

A surprise bonus keeps things lively: a single voter will be randomly selected during the campaign and rewarded with a one‑year digital subscription to the Herald.  

The competition aims to spotlight businesses that truly matter to neighbors and friends.

Everyone is encouraged to join in, because the winners will be announced on July 29.
