Trump's Takedown: A Response to Cheney’s Critique

Liz Cheney, a former Republican congresswoman, didn’t hold back at a Kamala Harris campaign event. She blasted Donald Trump for his actions during the Capitol attack and his attempts to stay in power. In response, Trump lashed out on Twitter, calling her a "low IQ War Hawk" who lost her seat by a huge margin. He even accused Cheney and her father of suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Cheney’s speech was strong. She claimed that Trump would sacrifice anything to stay in power, including allowing law enforcement officers to be hurt. She even made a joke about how she used to be a Republican before Trump started his political career. This wasn't the first time Cheney has spoken against Trump. She's been very critical of him, especially after the Capitol riot. Meanwhile, Democrats are trying harder to connect with Republicans who aren’t happy with Trump’s rhetoric. They’ve made ads featuring long-time GOP supporters and hired Maria Comella, a former aide to New Jersey governor Chris Christie, to help reach out to these voters.
