Now, Trump is choosing key people for his second term. He wants folks who will do what he says, no matter what the rules are. This is because he thinks too many people in his first term didn't follow his orders. They had their own ideas and sometimes even changed his decisions. Trump calls these people part of the "deep state, " and he doesn't want that in his second term.

But what does "loyalty" really mean in the government? Most people think it's a good thing. In Trump's first term, many people who worked for him said they were loyal to the Constitution, not to Trump personally. They did what they thought was right. But Trump's team now wants people who will be loyal to him, not the Constitution. They're worried that if they say that, it might cause a big problem.
