Trump's Immigration Stance: Is the U. S. a Global Dumping Ground?
Tempe, USAFriday, October 25, 2024
Trump's rhetoric is intense. He promised to end sanctuary cities, push for the death penalty for undocumented immigrants who kill U. S. citizens, and hire 10, 000 more border agents. He also wants to bring back his "stay in Mexico" policy, which required migrants to wait in Mexico for their asylum hearings.
Trump didn't hold back on his views about Vice President Kamala Harris either. He criticized her for "incoherent" statements and called her "low IQ. " Harris, on the other hand, wants a more practical approach. She supports legal immigration and a bipartisan bill that includes border wall funding, though she's faced criticism for this stance.
Arizona, a key swing state, is where both Trump and Harris are campaigning hard. With early voting underway, it's anyone's game. Polls show Trump slightly ahead, but it's within the margin of error.
