Trump's Final Campaign Day: Mixed Truths and Big Lies
Raleigh, USATuesday, November 5, 2024
Trump's statements about the economy were just as dubious. He attributed job number revisions to whistleblowers rather than the regular BLS updates. He even made up a story about the October jobs report, claiming unsafe conditions led to its delayed release, which didn't happen. His attacks on Nancy Pelosi also contained falsehoods. He wrongly accused her of selling Visa stock last week before a "major investigation, " which happened months earlier.
In a sea of misinformation, one thing stood clear: Trump's claims needed serious fact-checking. Many of his statements were allegations that didn’t hold water under scrutiny.
