Magenta Light Studios' 'Strange Darling' made a bold entrance at the box office, raking in $1.14 million in its debut weekend.

This slasher film, directed by JT Mollner, kept audiences on the edge of their seats as a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer's deadly spree. Starring Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Ed Begley Jr., and Barbara Hershey, 'Strange Darling' proved that nothing is as it seems.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Classics' 'Between The Temples' offered a refreshing breath of air with its poignant comedy. The film, directed by Nathan Silver, stars Jason Schwartzman and Carol Cane, telling the story of a cantor losing his voice and faith, whose life is upended when his high school voice teacher becomes his adult bat mitzvah student. 'Between The Temples' premiered at Sundance and quickly became a crowd favorite.

In addition, the 15th-anniversary rerelease of 'Coraline' from Fathom Events continued to captivate audiences, grossing $5+ million in its third weekend for a total cume of $22.5 million. Henry Selick's dark and imaginative animated film, based on Neil Gaiman's novella, remained a fan favorite, ranking no. 7 at the domestic box office.

Holdovers from previous weeks also shone brightly. 'Kneecap', 'Didi', 'Sing Sing', and 'Colman Domingo's prison drama' continued their successful runs, while 'My Penguin Friend' and 'Good One' expanded their reach in theaters.

Lastly, Neon's 'Cuckoo' and 'Longlegs' proved that horror is here to stay. With $6.05 million and $78.6 million in cumulative grosses, respectively, these films proved that they have staying power, even in the face of
