Let's talk about the middle of the night in Potomac.  It was a tragedy when two planes crashed into each other over the Potomac River this Wednesday night, leaving 67 lives lost. Right afterwards, the U. S. President Donald Trump mentioned a speech.  He had a head start on blaming the Democrats.  He accused them of putting policy above safety and politics above to make a point about the diversity initiatives and nothing else.

    This just happened. The recovery teams are doing their best, dodging the icy waters of the Potomac River.  The President went in a different direction and spoke about the tragedy to point fingers.  He said, "There is nothing but pure politics for Democrats. "  He put a question, "Is there any connection between these crashes and our diversity programs? " These were Donald Trump's words.

    The president is claiming that they put safety first, but it sounds like they wanted to change the existing rules.  Many people were outraged by Trump's comments.  He went on to say, "It's a nightmare to restore the country's faith in American air travel.  The failure of the Biden administration was a major obstacle. "  He said that he had more to say and that there are written articles that point to a diversity push led by the Obama administration.

    The live feed of the recovery effort is the real deal.  After the speech, the president emphasized that they were scouring the icy waters of the Potomac River.  It is very close to the White House.

    This is not a request to get rid of the policy. This is a request to put the lives of 67 people into perspective.

    He said, "I just want to make it crystal clear that the recovery effort is happening right now. "  This is a few miles from the White House.  In the same sentence, he condemned the disaster and the loss of life.  It may be helpful by acknowledging that the recovery effort is underway.

    Think carefully about what it means to be the President of the United States. The president's role is to lead the country.  That means he needs to be a leader and be accountable for his words and actions.  It also means being responsible for the nation's safety and responding to disasters.  The president must be ready to take action, offer help and guidance, and provide support for those in need.  That's the job.
