This tradition has been the backbone of Western civilization, influencing everything from art and philosophy to law and governance. Today, this tradition is more important than ever. It provides a moral compass and a sense of shared purpose that can help the West navigate its current challenges.

    Jews and Christians have distinct roles to play in this alliance. Christians, as the majority religion in the West, need to recognize that their civilization is built on values from the Hebrew Bible. The Talmud and the Jewish people themselves have been crucial in shaping Western civilization. The Jews introduced monotheism to the world and have been a constant presence in the West's history.

    Throughout history, those who have tried to conquer the West have often targeted the Jews. This is because the Jews represent a living testament to God's existence and His moral expectations. Jewish life, including the modern State of Israel, serves as a constant reminder of these principles. This is why anti-Semitism is so pervasive and why the Jews are often seen as a threat to those who seek to homogenize and control the world.

    Globalism, in particular, despises the particularism of the Jewish nation and the modern Jewish state. Globalists want to stamp out all differences and create a homogeneous world. They see the Jews, with their unique heritage and connection to the Land of Israel, as a major obstacle to this goal. Christians who want to protect their own traditions from globalist and neoliberal forces will find no better allies than the Jews. The Jews' very existence is a testament to the power of particularism and resistance to assimilation.

    But it's not just globalists who have a problem with the Jews. Atheists and those who seek to sever the West from its monotheistic roots also see the Jews as a threat. This is because Christianity itself is rooted in Judaism. The Second Vatican Council recognized the "common patrimony" and "spiritual bond" that unites Christians and Jews. The Jewish people are often referred to as the "good olive branch" onto which the Gentiles have been grafted. This shared heritage is a source of strength for both Jews and Christians.
