The immune cells were found near proteins like apolipoprotein B-100 and serum amyloid A.  These proteins are signs of inflammation and plaque.  The immune cells were also found near certain types of macrophages.  Macrophages are another type of immune cell.  They help clean up debris and fight infections.  But in this case, they might be making things worse.

So, what does this all mean?  It seems that immune cells might be playing a big role in brain aneurysm ruptures.  They might be causing inflammation and plaque buildup.  This could be making the aneurysm walls weaker.  But more research is needed to fully understand this.
