The Last Coaches Standing: Dan Campbell and Nick Sirianni ###

In 2021, the NFL welcomed seven new head coaches. Five years later, only two remain. With the firing of Robert Saleh, it leaves Dan Campbell of the Lions and Nick Sirianni of the Eagles as the last coaches from that class still standing. The first to go was Urban Meyer, a legendary college coach who struggled with the transition to the NFL. He was let go after a rough start with the Jaguars. Over in the Chargers camp, Brandon Staley got the boot after three seasons, despite a 24-24 regular season record and a single playoff loss. Falcons coach Arthur Smith also lasted three seasons but was shown the door with a 21-30 record. Saleh’s departure came five games into his fourth season, leaving him with a 20-36 record. Now, only Sirianni and Campbell remain. Sirianni’s Eagles have a 36-19 regular season record and a 2-3 playoff record. Campbell’s Lions are 27-27-1 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs.
