One woman booked an appointment online with Four Women for birth control, only to be called by AWHC and told she couldn't get it there, but they could give her diapers instead.
Despite claims that the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe means states can make their own decisions about abortion, crisis pregnancy centers are designed to undermine women's access to abortion, even in states that have chosen to protect their rights.
And they do it in the most underhanded way.
Abortion debates are often mired in lies and misconceptions, but the truth is that most Americans support abortion rights. Instead of playing dirty, we should focus on providing accurate information and protecting women's access to reproductive healthcare.
The dirty tricks of anti-abortion centers are a reminder that the fight for reproductive rights is far from over.
