So, what do anti-abortion advocates do? They play dirty.

In an effort to deceive women and undermine their access to reproductive healthcare, anti-abortion centers use disingenuous websites, algorithmic manipulation, and intentional confusion to trick women into forgoing abortions and contraception. These centers, often funded by massive anti-abortion groups, claim to offer legitimate healthcare services, but their real goal is to dissuade women from seeking abortions.

Instead of just blocking the doors, they're getting into women's pockets through their cellphones. The lawsuit filed by Four Women's attorneys alleges that AWHC interfered with the care of at least four patients in this way.

One woman booked an appointment online with Four Women for birth control, only to be called by AWHC and told she couldn't get it there, but they could give her diapers instead.

Despite claims that the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe means states can make their own decisions about abortion, crisis pregnancy centers are designed to undermine women's access to abortion, even in states that have chosen to protect their rights.

And they do it in the most underhanded way.

Abortion debates are often mired in lies and misconceptions, but the truth is that most Americans support abortion rights. Instead of playing dirty, we should focus on providing accurate information and protecting women's access to reproductive healthcare.
