Thanksgiving Football Picks: Who to Start and Who to Bench
USAWednesday, November 27, 2024
D'Andre Swift from the Bears, however, might not do so well. He's better when the Bears win, but they're big underdogs this week. Plus, he's not getting as many chances near the goal line, making it harder to score.
For wide receivers, Jameson Williams from the Lions could be a diamond in the rough. The Bears have a strong defense but struggle with big gains. Williams is good at long passes and has been targeted often.
DeAndre Hopkins from the Chiefs, though, might not have the best game. The Chiefs' offense hasn't been targeting him much, and he's not the top choice for passes.
At tight end, Jonnu Smith from the Dolphins looks like a safe bet. Even if Tua struggles, Smith has been targeted a lot and plays well against the Packers, who aren't great at stops tight ends.
Lastly, Sam LaPorta from the Lions isn't a top choice. He hasn't been getting many targets and is just a backup.
So, who are you starting and sitting this Thanksgiving?
