Teddi Mellencamp, formerly of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, " is keeping her divorce details private to protect her kids. She recently spoke about this on her podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod, ” with her friend Tamra Judge. Mellencamp explained that she wants to shield her children from media attention and online negativity. She shared that her priority is to have important family conversations and to keep her marital issues out of the spotlight.

Mellencamp believes that when something becomes public, it can be hurtful to her kids. She also responded to fans who called her a hypocrite, saying there’s a difference when children are involved. Mellencamp has three children with her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, and she announced their divorce on Instagram last Saturday. She cited “irreconcilable differences” and requested primary custody and spousal support.
