The Super Bowl 2025 gathered over 100 million viewers between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs for a night of grand entertainment. Advertisers paid up to $8 million for a 30-second ad slot.  The ads included Hollywood stars like Glen Powell, Antonio Banderas, Channing Tatum, and Chris Pratt, who showed off their humor and acting skills.  The US traditions and values were highlighted in ads from Starbucks, Budweiser, and Lay's. Some commercials were heartfelt, such as Google's emotional tribute to fatherhood, while others offered a touch of politics.  On the sidelines, Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady united to spread a anti-hate message.  Some of the most clever ads had actors reenacting classic movie scenes such as When Harry Met Sally, or Fast and Furious.   Matthew McConaughey, at 2 appearances for his spots, he was everywhere in spots for Uber Eats and Salesforce.  The Super Bowl commercials aired with a world record breaking of $700 million advertising revenues in 2024. A refreshing change with ads more food related than cars.  Targeting a wide array of viewers, ads were more diverse and covered from American values to environmental concerns.   Advertisers  used celebrities to engage with viewers and to get the message across. There was something for everyone, ranging from humorous and laid-back to meaningful and inspiring

   Why this event  undoubtedly reached a large audience.  They made the best use of celebrities, marketing campaigns, and media talent.  Does this mean that the most viewed content is the best ?   Look from another perspective.  The Super Bowl creates a space to bring people together. . some have suggested that it highlights American values.  The wide appeal of the Super Bowl is what makes it so compelling for advertisers.  The big names and brands definitely took a risk with their campaigns.
