Nine civilians lost their lives after Israeli aircraft targeted areas in northern and southern Gaza.

  • Northern Gaza:
A tent camp that sheltered displaced families was struck, killing four residents.

  • Southern Gaza:
A strike hit Khan Younis, causing five deaths.

Israeli officials claim the attacks were in response to Hamas fighters emerging from a tunnel east of the yellow line—a boundary set by the ceasefire. The Israeli army describes the operation as a precise strike conducted under international rules.

Both sides accuse each other of violating the ceasefire:

  • Hamas: alleges Israel breached the deal.
  • Israel: accuses Hamas of pushing beyond the agreed line.

The U.S. had earlier attempted to enforce this truce. On Saturday, Israeli forces reported finding armed militants near soldiers in northern Gaza, destroying a tunnel and engaging a building where two fighters were killed. The army believes additional militants may have been eliminated.

Since the ceasefire began, Gaza’s health ministry reports about 600 deaths from Israeli fire. Israel states that four of its soldiers were killed by militants in Gaza during the same period.

The conflict continues to raise serious concerns about civilian safety and the effectiveness of peace agreements.
