In a 2025 interview with InStyle, he revealed that he's turned down multiple invitations to join the show. His brother, Nick Jonas, joked that the show asked Kevin every season for years.

Tish Cyrus: Fear of the Spotlight

Tish Cyrus, mother of Miley Cyrus, has her own reasons for saying no. She admitted on the "Sorry We're Cyrus" podcast that the live aspect of the show scares her. Her daughter, Brandi Cyrus, thinks she'd be great on the show, but Tish isn't convinced.
