St. Paul, MN, USAWednesday, January 15, 2025
The pursuit began before 11 PM on Monday. The first officer stopped chasing the vehicle, but another officer later found it abandoned. Flowers started shooting from the back window of the car. After crashing, he ran away on foot. Officers caught him after a physical struggle. Flowers was evaluated at a hospital before being booked into the Ramsey County Jail.
The vehicle held an AR-15 suspected to be stolen, armor-piercing bullets, and drugs like fentanyl and cocaine. Flowers was arrested for attempted murder, assault, fleeing, and firearm possession. He was previously sentenced to 11 years for a first-degree assault conviction. This incident highlights the risks officers face daily while keeping our streets safe.
