Sprouts Farmers Market is opening new stores in Florida, with locations announced for Daytona Beach and Clermont.  

The chain plans to launch a third outlet in Naples next month, followed by openings in Lecanto and Lake Nona.  

A future store is slated for New Smyrna Beach, expected to start in 2027.  

Florida’s population growth is driving grocery expansion across the state.  

Between July 2024 and June 2025, nearly 200, 000 new residents arrived, making it the second fastest‑growing state after Texas.  

These newcomers bring disposable income that fuels higher food spending.  

Sprouts focuses on the health‑enthusiast market, aiming to triple its national footprint to 1, 400 stores.  

The company currently operates 477 locations in 24 states, with 59 already in Florida.  

Its CEO has said the chain ignores a large portion of the $1. 6 trillion U. S. food market to concentrate on a niche worth about $250 billion.  

The Daytona Beach store will open at 7 a. m. on February 27, with the Clermont location following a week later.  

Both stores will create jobs: the Daytona Beach outlet alone will hire 82 staff members, offering competitive pay and employee discounts.  

Average salaries in Florida range from $26, 000 to $53, 000 annually, according to ZipRecruiter data.  

Sprouts ranks 52nd among the U. S. ’s largest grocery chains, with $7. 7 billion in revenue last year and a 13. 5% growth from the previous year.  

Its net sales reached $8. 8 billion in 2025, up 14% from 2024.  

The company celebrated record earnings and highlighted its commitment to serving health‑focused customers.  

Customer satisfaction surveys place Sprouts high in the specialty grocery category, ranking fourth behind The Fresh Market, Whole Foods and Natural Grocers.  

It also scores well for product quality and health‑oriented offerings in national polls.  

Opening events include ribbon cuttings, free tote bags for the first 200 shoppers, and a pop‑up party with samples and a scavenger hunt.  

The Daytona Beach launch will feature free roses for the first 400 customers and continue with similar perks over the weekend.
