Space Tourist Coming to Bucks, TGI Fridays Bids Farewell

So, who's up for a night of space tales and fine wine? Viticulturist Greg Olsen, a man who knows a thing or two about both, will be the star guest at Frost Lounge in Doylestown this November. He's the third person to have ever paid for a trip to space, and he'll be sharing his out-of-this-world experiences with lucky diners over a four-course meal. Talking about space, it seems like TGI Fridays is leaving the Oxford Valley Mall area for unknown territories too. Their eatery closed its doors recently, as the restaurant chain continues to reduce its locations.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the Newtown community turned the town pink last October for a fantastic cause. They raised a whopping $91, 000 for Main St. , a non-profit supporting Bucks County breast cancer patients. The event, known as 'Light The Night Pink, ' was a block party extravaganza where developer Joe DeLuca was crowned 'Mr. Bucks County 2024'. It's amazing how communities come together for such great causes!
