Alaska is facing the most severe weather, with up to 12 inches of snow in some areas.

• Seward, a popular gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, is expected to receive between 6 and 12 inches of snow.
• Wind gusts may reach 40 miles per hour.
• Travel in the area is expected to be very difficult, so it's best to avoid any unnecessary trips.

Wisconsin Braces for Heavy Snowfall

Wisconsin is also bracing for heavy snowfall:

• Door County is expected to receive between 4 and 7 inches.
• Other parts of the state, including Southern and Northern Marinette County, Brown, Kewaunee, Calumet, and Manitowoc counties, are expected to receive between 2 and 4 inches.
• The snow is expected to make travel difficult, which could impact travelers heading to Chicago for the NFL Playoff game between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.

Other states under winter weather advisories include:

• Massachusetts
• Michigan
• New Hampshire

• Vermont
