See a Meteor Shower this Weekend: Tips and Tricks
EarthFriday, October 18, 2024
Experts from the American Meteor Society suggest that you’ll get the best view just after midnight. Find a dark spot, away from city lights, and lie down on your back. Look in the direction of the southeast if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, or the northeast if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere. Make sure to give yourself at least half an hour to enjoy the show.
It's crazy how these meteors travel so fast and create such beautiful sights! Even though Halley's Comet itself only comes around every 72 to 80 years, we get to enjoy these meteors every year. Isn't that cool?
