To give customers a better experience. Imagine walking into a Scout store and buying a car in less than 10 minutes. No haggling, no long waits. After you drive off, most repairs won't need to happen at a workshop. Scout says they can fix 80% of issues right where your car is.

So, why not just stick with the old way? Traditional dealerships aren't always the same. Some might give different prices or treat customers differently. By owning their stores, Scout can control that. But it's not easy or cheap. Scout has to pay for all these stores. But for a new brand, it's a way to show customers what they're all about. Plus, they plan to fix cars wherever you are, like at your house or hotel. Scout hasn't said where or when these stores will open. But they think most customers will live close to one when their first cars come out in 2027.
