Carter Barz from Sauk Rapids-Rice snagged the 4th spot in the 121 weight class, while his teammate Carter Pesta stole the show in the 133 category. Jack Barz placed second in the 145 division, and Chris Smith also finished in second place at 215. Over in basketball, there were some close games and big wins. Moorhead narrowly edged out Sauk Rapids-Rice, 69-64. St. Francis dominated Rocori with a 24-60 score. St. Cloud Tech had a solid win against Simley, 51-42. Bemidji crushed Big Lake, 85-59. And in the biggest blowout of the day, Southwest Christian smashed Dassel-Cokato, 94-58. In girls' basketball, Montevideo lost to Sauk Centre, 38-67.

Now, let's skate over to hockey. Holy Family shut out Litchfield-Dassel-Cokato, 11-0, with Bryce Wiitala scoring an incredible 6 goals! Monticello lost to St. Cloud Cathedral, 1-2, but they had a fierce competitor in John Hirschfeld who scored both goals for the Crusaders. Sartell won in overtime against Cloquet-Esko-Carlton, 2-1, with goals from Caden Vos and Andrew Bollinger. Proctor lost to Little Falls in overtime, 2-3, with Lucas Jendro scoring the game-winning goal for the Flyers. Moundsview also lost in overtime to St. Cloud Crush, 2-3, with Landon O'Donnell and Logan Ylinen scoring for the Crush. Becker-Big Lake and La Crescent-Hokah tied, 5-5, with five different players scoring for Becker-Big Lake. In girls' hockey, North Shore dominated Princeton-Becker-Big Lake, 7-0. Bemidji beat St. Cloud Crush, 5-2, with Liz Bell scoring both goals for the Crush.
