Samsung's Galaxy Watch 6 Classic: A Classic Choice at a New Price

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic hasn’t been the newest smartwatch from Samsung for a while now, since the Galaxy Watch Ultra took its place earlier this summer. But don’t count it out just yet. It’s still the most modern Galaxy Watch Classic you can get and now, it’s a lot cheaper thanks to a recent discount. If you prefer the classic rotating bezel over the bulkier design of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, the Watch 6 Classic is the way to go. And with an early Black Friday discount of $130, it’s becoming an even more attractive option. The price difference is significant. While the Galaxy Watch Ultra retails for $649, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is now available for $269 (43mm) and $349 (47mm). This is a substantial gap considering they were released a year apart.

You might want to grab this deal quickly since it’s a limited-time offer. It's important to remember, though, that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, while still great, isn't as powerful as the 2024 models. The newer models, Watch 7 and Ultra, come with a more powerful and power-efficient Exynos W1000 chip and a new BioActive sensor that saves energy during biometric scans. On the upside, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will soon get the same software update, One UI 6 Watch, that the Ultra currently has. Even though it’s not the newest, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic still looks fantastic. If you appreciate that design and the functionality of the physical rotating bezel, it’s definitely worth the investment, especially at this reduced price. Plus, it makes a fantastic gift option.
