Samsung's Galaxy S25: What's New with the RAM and Processor?
South KoreaSaturday, November 16, 2024
Why the switch? Well, reports claim that the Exynos 2500 chip has a low yield rate, meaning not many of them pass quality standards. This has likely pushed Samsung to rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite instead.
The Galaxy S24, which is expected to run Android 15 and One UI 7. 0, scored well on Geekbench tests. It hit 2, 480 points in the single-core CPU test and 8, 658 points in the multi-core test. This shows about a 15% boost in single-core performance and around 30% in multi-core performance compared to previous models.
With these upgrades, the Galaxy S25 series aims to offer more headroom for users, especially those who love multitasking. Even with many apps open, these phones should handle tasks smoothly.
