Poland & Lithuania,Thursday, January 23, 2025
In the clip, Solovyov didn't hold back. He blamed Britain for strikes on Crimea and called for Ukraine's removal from the Black Sea. He even referred to cities like Odesa and Mykolaiv as "Russian cities. " His plan? To create a land corridor to Transnistria, claiming it's needed for energy security. He also suggested that Russia should reach the Atlantic.
Gerashchenko wasn't impressed. He called Solovyov a "filthy warmonger" on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
Leaders from both sides have spoken up. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov talked about eliminating threats on Russia's western border. U. S. President Joe Biden reminded everyone that Ukraine is still a free and independent country.
So, what's next? Even with Trump's return to the White House, concerns about potential Russian attacks in NATO countries are likely to continue.
