Russian Missiles Hit Dnipro Hospital: A Devastating Blow

In a tragic turn of events, a mother and daughter were among the casualties of a Russian missile strike on a military hospital in Dnipro, Ukraine, according to local authorities. This attack occurred as Russia intensified its bombardment of Ukrainian sites, targeting both civilian areas and energy infrastructure. The Mechnikov Hospital, which treated severely injured soldiers from the frontlines, was severely damaged, resulting in at least four deaths and 20 injuries. Residential buildings were also affected, with 13 apartments and two houses suffering damage. This isn't the first time Russia has targeted crucial infrastructure. Earlier this year, a Russian drone struck a residential building in Kyiv, killing a 15-year-old girl and injuring five others. In a separate incident, a 61-year-old woman lost her life during shelling in the Kharkiv region.

President Volodymyr Zelensky took to social media to express his frustration. He noted that following an international summit, Russia resumed its attacks, suggesting that diplomacy alone isn't stopping the aggression. "Aggression can only be stopped by decisive actions in defense of our state and people, " Zelensky stated. He emphasized that the war, now in its third year, has a single perpetrator: Moscow. These strikes highlight the ongoing challenges Ukraine faces.
