The Track Hawks Run Club is embarking on an ambitious journey, aiming to cover more than 100 miles in a single day—all for a meaningful cause.

The Relay Challenge

  • Route: Baltimore City Hall to Philadelphia City Hall
  • Segments: 11 parts, each runner covering a portion of the distance
  • Date: Saturday

Supporting the Jeremiah Program

The event seeks to raise $5,000 for the Jeremiah Program, a nonprofit dedicated to opening higher-education doors for single mothers.

A Personal Story

Mayra Garcia, a participant and single mom, shares her perspective:

"The Jeremiah Program opens doors so that single moms can hopefully get better jobs and they can support their kids. So really, you invest in one generation, but you’re investing in all of the other generations as well."

Community Involvement

  • Start Point: Runners will begin near Towson.
  • Volunteers: WJZ volunteers will assist along the route.

Beyond the Run

By combining a physical challenge with community support, the club highlights that running can be more than exercise—it can bridge education and opportunities.

The Bigger Goal

The event isn’t just about miles; it’s about building a stronger future for families in the area.
