The granite used in this study had a greenish shade, which was crushed and sorted into different sizes. The resin used in this study is easy to get and mixes quickly without creating unwanted products. It also stands up well against chemicals like acids and alcohols. The researchers made samples of this composite material using steel molds. After letting them set, they tested how much pressure the tiles could handle.
