Prologue’s New TV Boss: Ken Segna Joins the Crew

Prologue Entertainment, the fledgling studio behind Netflix hits Zero Day and A House of Dynamite, has appointed Ken Segna as the new head of its television division.
Segna will oversee all TV development, expanding Prologue’s series lineup and forging new creative partnerships.

A Proven Track Record

  • Lee Daniels Entertainment – Led television, packaging shows for 20th Television and selling projects to FX, Hulu, Starz, ABC, Disney+, and Onyx.
  • MRC Television – Developed and sold series such as The Terminal List, Poker Face, and The Shining Girls.
  • Starz – Oversaw the creation of originals like Power; produced music videos, commercials, and a documentary on Levon Helm.

Segna holds a Symbolic Systems degree from Stanford and an MFA in Film Production from USC.

Building Prologue’s Creative Core

Founded this year by Lloyd Braun, Sarah Bremner, and Noah Oppenheim, Prologue is still assembling its talent pool.
Segna reports directly to co‑founder Sarah Bremner and joins a growing roster that includes:

  • Quinn Wilcox – Creative Executive with experience at UCP and 3AD.
  • Sammy Rosenthal – Director of Creative Affairs, formerly at 51 Entertainment for nearly seven years.

The studio is backed by Jeff Zucker and RedBird Capital Partners, and has secured first‑look deals for film and TV with The Atlantic and bestselling spy author David McCloskey.
