Pop Star and Ex-Husband in Heated Custody Dispute

A well-known pop artist is currently embroiled in a heated legal battle with her ex-husband over custody of their young son. The singer, renowned for her hit song "Chandelier," has made serious allegations against her former partner, Daniel Bernad, in court documents.

Allegations and Investigations

The artist claims that Bernad was once under investigation for possessing child pornography. According to her, the Los Angeles Police Department looked into the matter but found no concrete evidence, leading to the case being closed. Despite this, she remains firm in her stance against granting him custody of their child.

Custody and Financial Disputes

This accusation comes just after Bernad filed for sole custody of their 19-month-old son, Somersault Wonder. He argued that the singer's past struggles with drug addiction make her an unfit parent. Bernad, a radiation oncologist and co-founder of a ketamine clinic with the singer, also requested a substantial amount of child support.

Artist's Defense

The singer, however, dismisses these claims as misleading and motivated by financial gain. She argues that her past issues with substance abuse are well-documented and have been resolved. She also mentioned that she is currently in a recovery program, undergoing weekly testing and having a sober companion.

Accusations Against Bernad

In her court filings, the artist accuses Bernad of trying to manipulate her past to serve his own interests. She also hints that his lifestyle, which includes nightlife and recreational drug use, is not conducive to a healthy environment for their child.

The custody battle is part of their ongoing divorce proceedings, which the singer initiated earlier this year.
