NVIDIA Adds DLSS to Four New Games

NVIDIA has rolled out its Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology to four fresh titles, keeping GeForce RTX gamers in the loop. The company continues its weekly push for DLSS, Reflex, and ray‑tracing support across new releases. During the recent Steam Next Fest, Valve showcased demos for upcoming games such as Mortal Shell 2 and The Sinking City 2. These titles, along with others like Splitgate 2 and Subnautica 2, now feature DLSS and RTX enhancements. Mortal Shell 2, an action RPG from Cold Symmetry and Playstack, expands the Souls‑like combat of its predecessor. Players can upgrade weapons, explore a sprawling open world filled with temples and tombs, and tackle over 60 dungeons. The open beta offers DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and realistic lighting effects. The Sinking City 2, crafted by Frogwares, transports players to a flooded Arkham in the 1920s. As occult investigator Charles Reed, you must navigate submerged streets, battle Slithers—creatures that reanimate corpses—and rescue your partner Fay. A one‑hour demo, available before the official August 18 release, supports DLSS and Frame Generation.

Splitgate 2 (Impulse), from 1047 Games, is a fast‑paced team shooter where movement tricks like wall‑running and grappling hooks are key. The Freehold map offers varied terrain, and players can even pilot mechs to sway battles. Early access launched on June 24, with DLSS Dynamic Frame Generation and Reflex for lower latency. Subnautica 2, by Unknown Worlds, drops players into an alien ocean world after Earth’s collapse. Co‑op with up to three friends, use a Tadpole submarine to scout ecosystems, and build bases. Since its May launch, the game has sold well and supported DLSS from day one. The latest update brings the newest Super Resolution model, giving RTX users sharper visuals and smoother performance.
