NISAR Mission: Delayed Launch, Repairs, and What's Next
IndiaSunday, December 15, 2024
So, what's NISAR all about? It's a cool collaboration between NASA and the Indian space agency, ISRO. They're teaming up to map land and ice from space. The spacecraft will have radars to help scientists study all sorts of stuff, from glaciers to volcanic activity.
When can we expect science operations to start? About three months after the launch, which is currently set for late March next year. But remember, in space, things don't always go as planned.
