NFL Player's Business Blunder: Lessons on Contracts and Integrity

Ever heard of Haason Reddick? He's a professional football player, currently on holdout from the New York Jets. Holding out means he's refusing to play, and it's costing him big bucks – over $800,000 per game! But that's not the only place he's losing money. Recently, a business partner sued him for not paying up. Back in 2018, Reddick bought a senior health care business in Philadelphia. He didn't run it himself; he left that to his family. By 2021, the business was in trouble. A guy named Micah Khan stepped in to help. He had experience in the health industry and turned the business around.

The plan was that if the business sold, Reddick would share half the profits with Khan. But that didn't happen. Instead, Khan says Reddick sent people to threaten him when he asked for his share of the $3.25 million sale price. Reddick's lawyer hasn't commented on the lawsuit. The Jets also haven't said anything about it.
