Mysterious Undersea Cable Damages in the Baltic: What’s Going On?

Have you ever wondered what happens when our undersea cables get damaged? In the Baltic Sea, this has been happening a lot lately. Over the past year and a half, at least 11 undersea cables have been damaged. These cables are really important because they help with global communication and power supply. NATO has even started a new mission called "Baltic Sentry" to keep an eye on things and prevent more damage.

Just recently, a French Navy plane flew over the Baltic, looking for any weird activities. NATO's boss, Mark Rutte, said they will do what it takes to stop more damage. Some incidents, like when a tanker messed up cables on Christmas Day, seemed strange. But experts think most of the damage might be accidents. Even so, the fact that it's happening so often and in the same place is making people worried.
