Money Boost for Kids with Complex Needs

Kids with complex needs just got some great news! The Health Minister has promised £13 million each year to help their families. This comes after a TV show, "I Am Not Okay, " showed how tough it is for families with kids who have autism and severe learning disabilities. These kids often hurt themselves or others when they get very upset. Families say they can't get short breaks anymore, which means everyone's at risk. The Minister says this money will change things within months.

He wants better short breaks and more support at home. Four moms from the show met with the Minister. They hope the money is used to create more respite and residential services. The Minister agrees that demand is way too high and something needs to change now. A charity for autism is happy about the money but wants to see real changes fast. The Minister will tell the Assembly about the plans later today.
