Imagine the time when a mom needs healthcare the most .  When we talk about moms and babies there is a critical window of opportunity.  This is called the perinatal period. Improving healthcare during this time is super important. It will make sure both moms and babies get the best care .  That's where digital health comes in .  Technology can make a big difference when we think about accessibility to healthcare, information, and overall quality of care.

    So, what's the problem?   Current digital health technologies are often failing.  This is because the needs of real patients and healthcare systems are not being clearly taken into account   If we want these innovations to be used effectively, we need to consider. Who are they for?  Will they be used?  What will make them last?  If we don't figure it out. There may be an opportunity we don't want to miss.  The opportunity is in creating perinatal digital innovations.

   Looking at this from a different perspective, it is about making the transition of our care smoother for mom and baby.  If this is done right, it can increase the likelihood of moms and babies getting the care they need in an easier way.  It is possible to use technology.  But really, the key here is  to make sure we are thinking from the perspective of the patients.  Their perspectives are crucial for the success.  So, researchers need the patients to weigh in.

    First, let's talk about expectations.  When you have a baby, you have a lot of things to worry about.   As a mom or a pregnant woman, you want information but most importantly, you want good communication.  We need to create digital solutions that make things easier.  This means we need to ask and listen.

    Let's break down the research agenda.  It is clear why it's important to do this.  It is for a better world.   A better world where moms and baby are being taken care of in the right way.  The Research Agenda  follows the idea of collaboration .  It is about involving all the necessary parties.  It is about everyone working together.

    Here's a key question: What is needed from the patients and how can we create resilience?  This project aims to do exactly.
