Math and Reading Scores Change in Minnesota Schools
Rochester, MN, USAFriday, October 18, 2024
In 2024, more students understood reading better, with 60.3% getting the state standard, up from 56.3% last year. But for math, fewer students made the grade, with 50.6% getting it right, down from 51.1% in 2023. Science scores also dropped a bit, with 44.4% meeting the standard, down from 45.4%.
In the Rochester Public School District, things were a bit different. They couldn't give the MCA test last year because of a cyber attack. So, the latest scores are from 2022. It's interesting to see how each district's students are doing compared to the state.
