Mastering Your Meetings: Discover Copilot's Handy Features

Ever showed up late to a meeting and felt lost? Microsoft Copilot has you covered! This smart assistant can quickly catch you up on what you've missed. But there are a few things to keep in mind. You need a Microsoft-based work account and access to Microsoft 365 Copilot, which is different from the personal version. The meeting should be hosted within your organization and have transcription enabled for Copilot to scan the conversation. If it's not transcribed, the organizer must have turned on the 'Only during the meeting' option. Copilot then uses speech-to-text data, which is automatically deleted after the meeting to protect privacy.

Join the meeting as usual, and once inside, click the Copilot icon. Ask something like "What did I miss so far? " or "Recap from the start, please. " Copilot will scan through the transcript or speech-to-text data and give you a bullet-point list of the discussion. You can even ask follow-up questions, like what your tasks are or what issues others have mentioned.
