    A major switch in managing leadership has happened at City National Bank

    Two key people are stepping in to oversee entertainment banking and private wealth. Kelly did a great job leading that group. But she's stepping away for new challenges. This means the bank's focus on entertainment, wealth management, and private banking is not slowing down.

    Kelly started with the bank

    A few years ago, she shifted to lead entertainment and wealth management. This was a testament to her leadership and knowledge of the industry.

    This is major news for banking sector. Bankers with limited exposure to senior leadership will gain an insight to the organisational structure

    Now, kelly is walking away from this role.   Bankers with experience in

    entertainment will be hoping to fill her shoes. However, there is no information yet on

    whether others will be stepping down in the near future.

    JaHan Wang and Abel Montañez are the ones taking up the reins

    They are ready to lead the team even though they may not have as much experience. This is a challenge for the bank and an opportunity for someone to step up as leader and grow.

    At the age of 51, Wang has been with City National Bank for 16 years. Before that, he was

    in the entertainment industry.

    Abel was given the keys to the bank's private wealth management team by Kelly.  Abel started at the bank in 2021. He was previously with Wells Fargo.

    He has a strong background in managing wealth and has experience in managing wealth for entertainment industry. He also has a team of senior managers who are helping him run the bank.

    Yes, the entertainment industry is changing.

    Well, who knows what's coming next. Young people who are just starting out in banking might be surprised.

    I mean they are still operating.

    Direct comparison can be made with the gold era of the 1980s. This will boost and make new generation of bankers who have a better understanding of the entertainment industry.

    For the new leaders, there's a lot of pressure.

    They have to keep the team happy and moving forward.  But it's a chance

    for them to raise up  a new generation of leaders and leave their own mark.
