The New York Knicks are making a strong statement in the Eastern Conference semifinals.  They just pulled off an amazing comeback against the Boston Celtics for the second time in a row.   The Knicks managed to overcome a 20-point deficit once again, securing a narrow 91-90 victory.  This win gives them a commanding 2-0 lead in the series, setting the stage for Game 3 in New York.

The Celtics had a solid start to the game.  They quickly built a 20-point lead in the third quarter.  It looked like they had the game under control.  However, the Knicks had other plans.  They launched a fierce fourth-quarter comeback, scoring 21 points while the Celtics struggled to score.  Boston missed 12 straight shots and went over eight minutes without a field goal.

The Celtics' Jayson Tatum finally broke the drought with a quick dunk.  But the Knicks responded immediately.  Jalen Brunson drew a foul and sank two free throws to take the lead.  In the final seconds, Tatum tried to secure a win with a last-ditch effort, but Mikal Bridges blocked his shot at the buzzer.  This sealed the victory for the Knicks and left the Boston fans in shock.

The Celtics' coach, Joe Mazzulla, explained that they chose not to use their final timeout.  They believed they could repeat the same play that had worked earlier.  However, the Knicks' defense was ready this time.  They stopped the Celtics' attempt, and Brunson had a clear path to score.

The Celtics struggled with their shooting, especially from three-point range.  They made only 10 out of 40 attempts.  Derrick White and Jaylen Brown each scored 20 points, but Tatum was held to 13 points despite grabbing 14 rebounds.  For the Knicks, Josh Hart led with 23 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 21 points and 17 rebounds.  Bridges scored all 14 of his points in the final quarter, showcasing his clutch performance.

The series now shifts to New York for Game 3.  The Knicks are on a roll, but they still have a long way to go to reach the Eastern Conference finals.  Their next challenge will be to maintain this momentum and keep the Celtics off balance.
