Kirsten Dunst's New Role: A Charming Criminal's Tale

You might know Kirsten Dunst from her latest hit, A24's Civil War. But she's already moved on to her next big thing! She'll be joining Channing Tatum in a unique true crime flick called Roofman. The director, Derek Cianfrance, is at the helm. So, what's this movie about? It's based on the fascinating story of Jeffrey Manchester, a former U.S. Army Reserve officer who turned into a serial robber. His method? Breaking into McDonald's through the roof, robbing the cash register, and herding staff into freezers. He was known as "Roofman" for his gentle demeanor and rarely using violence. Producers include Dylan Sellers, Chris Parker, Jamie Patricof, and Lynette Howell Taylor. FilmNation and CAA Media Finance are handling the distribution package, which is already generating interest.
