Keep Your Windows 10 Secure: Microsoft Offers One-Year Extension for $30
Sunday, November 3, 2024
Microsoft isn't abandoning Windows 10 entirely. It will still provide security intelligence updates for Defender Antivirus until at least October 2028. However, the tech giant is eager for users to switch to Windows 11. In a recent blog post, Microsoft encouraged users to make the transition, highlighting their commitment to smoothing out the change.
Initially, Microsoft touted Windows 10 as the "last version of Windows. " Obviously, things didn't go as planned. The End of Support date is a reminder to Windows 10 diehards that change is inevitable. Will the $30 ESU program be enough to convince users to stick with Windows 10, or will they finally make the move to Windows 11?
